Starting in Jerusalem, with centralized pick up the tour travels south towards Eilat, crossing the border in the southern city via the Arava border crossing. With the help of a border assistant, cross in comfort arriving into Jordan for an exhilarating tour ahead. Start by heading to the port city of Aqaba, situated along the Red Sea, with time to relax, explore and have a coffee or quick bite. From Aqaba, travel to Wadi Rum to check into the Bedouin campsite, overnight accommodation for the evening and experience a taste of the famous Jordanian hospitality. In the afternoon when the temperatures are cooler, head out with a local Bedouin into the vast desert landscape on a Jeep safari adventure, one of the best ways to take in this unique landscape. Later return to the Wadi Rum camp filled with visions of the desert, and unwind over dinner enjoying an authentic Jordanian style feast, and finally get some rest in the comfortable tent accommodation (upgrades possible), for a memorable night under the desert night sky. The following morning, wake up rested and slowly wake up over breakfast, preparing for a full day of sightseeing ahead in Petra, the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site that is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. With a knowledgeable and English-speaking guide, begin the guided tour of Petra, taking in the history, the stories and culture of this ancient city, preserved and offering an exciting glimpse of the past. After a fun and informative day exploring this former Nabatean city, head back towards the border beginning the return transfer to Israel. From Petra, travel back towards the border crossing into Eilat before heading traveling back to Jerusalem.
