For travelers who want to make the most out of Petra and Wadi Rum, two of Jordan’s major highlights, our Petra and Wadi Rum 2 day tour from Eilat is the perfect option. Our overnight Petra and Wadi Rum tour which departs daily from Eilat showcases these quintessential wonders of ancient Jordan.

Starting from Eilat, cross the nearby Arava border crossing from Israel into Jordan with border assistance and then continue onto the city of Aqaba. In Aqaba, have time to explore this beach town which is situated along the Red Sea’s Gulf of Aqaba and enjoy a coffee or a quick bite before continuing onto Wadi Rum. Later, arrive to Wadi Rum and check into the Bedouin Camp accommodation, with time to unwind and take in the facilities and the desert backdrop. Once settled into the Wadi Rum camp, enjoy an afternoon Jeep Safari tour amid the rare landscape, taking in the beauty and vastness of the desert. Upon returning, take in the Jordanian culture with an authentic Bedouin feast and a comfortable sleep in the Bedouin-style tents (upgrades possible). The following morning, eat breakfast in the campsite before transferring to the iconic lost city of Petra and begin a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. The magic of this site really comes to life while exploring sites like the Siq, the Petra Treasury, the Obelisk Tomb, the Roman theatre and uncover other hidden gems and stories. After the guided portion of the tour, have some free time in Petra to explore on your own, including time to visit the Petra Monastery and eat lunch. Later in the afternoon, it will be time to leave Petra and head back to the border to cross back to Israel and return to Eilat.

As border operating hours are currently reduced, the order of the tour will be slightly changed. Petra will be visited on Day 1, followed by an overnight in Wadi Rum, and Wadi Rum jeep safari on Day 2. The tour will end at the border in Eilat (Israel) at 15:00 on Day 2.
